Lean ground turkey, sweet onion and taco seasoning cooked together then piled high on corn tortillas with Sargento® Shredded Colby-Jack Cheese, diced tomato, black olives and homemade guacamole.
Ingredients
16 ozs. Ground turkey (85% lean)
1 cup Sweet onion, diced
1 pkg. Low sodium taco seasoning
12 Corn tortillas (6 inch), warmed
2 cups Sargento® Shredded Colby-Jack Cheese
1 med. Tomato, diced
1 cup Sliced black olives
1 ½ cups Guacamole, prepared
Directions
Brown ground turkey In a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until onion is softened. Add taco seasoning and water. Simmer over low heat for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, grill or warm tortillas in microwave to soften. Wrap with damp paper towels and keep warm on a plate until ready to serve.
To serve: Spoon prepared taco meat onto each warm corn tortilla. Top with cheese, tomatoes, black olives and guacamole. Enjoy.
